As April is quickly passing us by, I am wondering about the status of developing a singular unified campaign for the Democrats running for the House and Senate this year. Have anyone reached any agreement on what issues the campaign should concentrate on? Is the DCCC preparing for a such a campaign?
If they are not, then I think we are missing an opportunity. We could turn this election into a D-D-D landslide if we are effective enough in developing a strategy and sticking to it.
I think if we combine a coordinated campaign on the congressional level (such as the Republicans had in 1994) with the development of internet grassroots campaigns and BFA and DFA 2.0, we will be unstoppable.
What are your thoughts on this? I would like to hear opinions as to what issues we could run on where all Democrats agree and if it is possible at all. Further, how is Kos' OurCongress project coming? Any news on Dean's new venture?
