However, I am not angry with John Kerry, unlike many here were last week. Indeed many here state the ridiculous notion that Howard Dean would have handled this better.
Why you ask? Didn't Kerry simply agree with Bush? If you are angry at Bush, then you have to be angry at Kerry, right?
No, these are valid questions, but it is my opinion that this is a simple election year ploy to garner the Jewish-American vote. The President is trying to corner the market on the Jewish vote. Kerry cannot let that happen, so he removes the issue from the table.
I cannot say that I have a problem with that. And the reason for that is you simply cannot have the Israeli-Palestinian conflict as a US Presidential Campaign issue. The conflict is much too complicated for the average voter to even begin to understand. And further, there is no right and wrong in this conflict. It is all wrong. There are not just two sides of the conflict but thousands. Finally, there are not just two solutions to the conflict, one which Bush can endorse and one that Kerry can endorse.
But since many Kossacks have taken the liberty to attack Kerry for his statements last week, I must assume that they know how to solve the entire Israeli-Palenstinian problem. Therefore, I wish to start discussion here today so I can here these solutions.
What is the correct plan for peace in the Middle East?
How do we solve this conflict so that both the Israelis and the Palenstinians will be happy?
