Here is a new feature here at Dialy Kos. The Best Diaries of the Day. This is sort of a compromise for those who want to rate Diaries or for those who want that have the best diaries on the front page so they don't disappear.

I discussed earlier in my diary today what my guidelines will be in judging what are indeed the best diaries. Number of comments, mojo ratings in tip jars, original and creative thoughts, and diaries adhering to the posting rules are all factors in determining if they are worthy of inclusion. However, there will be exceptions, so these guidelines will be flexible. Therefore, what is best is solely subject to what mood I am at the end of the day. :) In other words, it will be totally subjective.
