By way of the note, some interesting info. Just yesterday I was wondering if the Democrats were going to put up a big defense ala the Republicans in NYC for the RNC...

Details have come about:

"They've hired superstar Jay Carson to be their Counter Convention Communications Director, we've learned.

Kevin Wardally will be the CC's campaign manager. Melvin Norris, who is a key aide to Rep,. Charles Rangel, will serve as New York Chief of Staff for the Democrats.

And yes, Jenny Backus will have a key role, too."

At first I didn't recall who Jay Carson was... Well, he's a former head spokesman for Dean for America, circa January 2004. Anyone feel comfortable with this team?
