Here in California when Gray Davis ran against the recall - the GOP had a great slogan..."deficits and bad leadership, if you did your job like Davis, wouldn't you be FIRED!?" - and the bumper stickers were everywhere till election day...I remember a table by the pier in Huntington Beach, where a potential voter came to that realization - "yeah, I'd be fired, why not Davis?!"
"Fire BUSH" is a great slogan because it empowers the voter to make a choice over the fate of another - which is a direct appeal to many people's desire to have power in a society where we are losing more power as individuals on a daily basis.
FIRE BUSH...if you did your job this bad, would you keep it?
