"SCLM" Operating on 4-Year Delay", or "Peter Jennings gambit"

The awol story is gaining traction now?  I mean, it's a bit late, doncha think?  Maybe the censors have the tape on a 4-year delay.

Anyone think that Peter Jennings' intention was actually to draw this story out without making it look as if that was what he was doing (for fear people would attack his Canadian heritage or something, I don't know).  That's what I think, anyway.

Thanks Peter!  Late is ever-so-slightly better than never, at least for all but 500 or so of us.
