Smerconish played a part of the interview that O'Reilly had with Bush in which Bush claimed to have received no favorable treatment when he got into the Guard.

Me: Hey, how are you? Ya know, I've always thought Americans are some of the most saavy people on earth, so it is amazing to me that they think that a guy who's grandfather was a Senator, who's father was a Congressman - got no preferential treatment in getting into the Guard. Now... it looks like that might be changing because at least 57% of the people think he is a liar, at least with regards to WMD, according to the latest polls I've seen... but at the same time, this is the same right wing smear machine that attacks the messenger - did you know - and this is something that should give everyone pause - is that these forgeries were discovered - and forgeries are in quotes - within an hour of the broadcast by a guy named Buckhead who was a republican lawyer involved in the 2000 election fiasco down in Florida... he had no typography experience, and he's talking about kerning...
