I know I'm not the only one out here who is driven slightly insane while watching CNN. The problem is that if you want the latest news and you're not online your choice is very limited. I wouldn't be caught dead tuning into Fox ( I already take blood pressure medication). MSNBC is a little too cutesy and a tad too influenced by their corporate masters.

So every morning, I turn on CNN, take a big gulp of strong coffee and try not to shout at the screen. Where do they find these people? Bill Hemmer looks like he should be doing the steroid stories and seems always too eager to establish his macho athlete bona fides. And Soledad....yikes! She is probably a very nice woman but anchoring a main morning news program, please. The tee-hee laugh of hers drives me right up the wall. She also seems to be over her head in a lot of interviews ( as does Hemmer, I'm no sexist). Thank god for earpieces and smart producers in the control room.

Cafferty's schtick wore thin oh about three years ago. I admit there are times he does hit the nail on the head but come on Bill, you still use the word "France" like it was a borscht-belt rimshot.

And how can I forget Wolf Blitzer. It is totally impossible for me to watch this guy. Has ANYone noticed his lack of breath control. Christ, his pauses between words and sometimes between syllables makes my head explode. Take some voice lessons, Wolf.
