To anyone familiar with United Seniors' history, such dishonest tactics should come as no surprise. The United Seniors Association has merely shifted its focus from using inaccurate alarmism to exploit the vulnerabilities of senior citizens to using inaccurate alarmism to exploit the vulnerabilities of the mass media. What has not changed is who benefits, or the ultimate goal: conservative activists pushing their conservative agenda, destroying Social Security, regardless of how much it hurts senior citizens and the American public.
