DLC CEO works for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce

This Washington Post article discusses the U.S. Chamber of Commerce. It mentions many of the Chamber's accomplishments such as helping to repeal ergonomics regulations that would have helped millions of workers and helping to repeal the Bush tax cuts for the rich.

This year the Chamber will target Social Security and class action lawsuits which compensate working Americans when they are screwed over by corporations.

Obviously, the U.S. Chamber is one of Bush's best friends. And guess who is also a good friend of the Chamber?

The chamber has hired the Swiss Guard of paid consultants from both political parties. Several showed up at a recent dinner hosted by Donohue at the chamber, including Al From, chief executive of the Democratic Leadership Council...

Obviously, the U.S. Chamber is waging a war on working Americans and every value Democrats should stand for. No individual or organization that cares about the working people of this country would have anything to do with these scumbags.
