the dark ages are coming...

East v. West

the election? of the new pope today speaks to the fact that it is not just the united states that has made a sharp shift to the right, fascism, war, etc. it is in fact the entire west.

when bush I was elected in 2000, who really won?

China.

when bush I was re-elected in 2004,who really won?

China.

the truth is, the shift to the right in the west will be marked with all the things that shifting to the right marks you with: slowing economies, lower educational marks, broken infrastructure, wildly large debt, social unrest, and a bunch of enemies.

now the east has never been a bastion of liberalism. but china hasnt spent much in the recent "war for liberation" of iraq, or whatever its called now. in fact, china made money off of the USA by loaning us the funds to go to war. china is busy modernizing its military, storing up its cash, building infrastructure, etc. the west is beginning its dissent into the middle/dark ages, as it falls behind in technology, innovation, freedom, etc..

as we begin our inevitable decline into the dark ages, the east rises.
