Media Buries Reid's Dare To Frist

It's been four days now since Harry Reid made his famous put-up-or-shut-up Nuclear Option dare to Frist -- and Frist has yet to take him up on it.

If Frist is so eager to get this Nuclear Option thang passed, why hasn't he scheduled a vote on it? And why haven't the media been mentioning Reid's Tuesday request for a vote?

We all know why Frist hasn't held a vote. It's because he knows it won't pass. So he's stalling for time, hoping against hope that his puppetmasters Dobson and Robertson will leave him alone.

But why hasn't the media been highlighting Reid's put-up-or-shut-up request?

Could it be that they know that if they did, it makes Frist look like the weak wimp that he is -- and that their conservative corporate owners would be angry with them because of it?
