Its About Trade: Why the Media Wanted Kerry to Win

Its all about trade people.

Who did the media (the CORPORATE OWNED MEDIA) tear down in Iowa? Dean and to some extent Gep.

Who did they prop up (have you seen the Kerry coverage vs. the Dean coverage?)?

Kerry.

What's the difference between Gep, Dean and Kerry?

As a group they are all over the place on the war. Nope--

The difference is:

TRADE.

Dean and Gep are the two demanding worker rights become part of our trade agreements. Kerry is a free-trader all the way- a corporate trade backer despite his other liberal positions.

The CORPORATE OWNED MEDIA are benfitting from the outsourcing and the trade loopholes and they're making darn sure no one spoils their party. I also suspect it is the one issue which COULD (along with immigration) deliver some of the south against Bush-- Bush is on the wrong side of BOTH issues in places like North Carolina.

Folks- we need to get rid of Bush- but if we don't lick this trade thing (NAFTA and GATT with increased environmental and fair labor standards) does it matter? Probably yes- but not nearly as much.

I'll vote for Kerry if he gets the nom- but he needs to rethink TRADE.
