Chertoff: Big Improvement on Ridge

Having just seen Michael Chertoff and having read about him since taking over the Department of Homeland Security, the guy actually deserves some credit, which virtually none of the Bushies deserve.

Instead of speaking invoking fear or being self-absorbed like Tom Ridge, Chertoff simply emphasized common sense and, to me, a logical reason for raising the terror alert on mass transit systems.

Yes, there might be no known attacks planned for here, but it appears that wasn't the case in London today. This is a better approach of being proactive with some damn logic.
