The Inevitable Attack

Yesterday I posted a diary saying that a new right wing talking point was going to be that "the next attack on the USA is inevitable"

Today, CNN runs the article I had predicted:

I don't know how they did this, but the GOP has actually got people now to believe that they are AT THE SAME TIME protecting people from terror acts AND that there will inevitably be a terror attack.

Somebody posted on my diary that dick cheney had said that if kerry were elected terror would be inevitable. Now here we are post election, and they are saying terror is inevitable.

Now, I've posted alot of reasons on my diary that the concept that terrorism is inevitable is usual bush lies. But what is happening right now to me is so incredible that I just don't know what to say.

This admistration, which everybody nows f-ked up so many promises, many ONE...ONE f-king promise, and that was to stop terror. Now, here we are with the task at hand, and now they're saying "hey, its gonna happen..get used to it?"

WHERE IS THE OUTRAGE? Where are people who say this is incredible. This is the ONE thing you're supposed to be able to do. At the VERY LEAST, the bush admin should SAY they can protect us, now, they are so useless that they cant even SAY they can protect us, let alone actually do it.

I know that they don't care if some bluestate city dwellers die, but it pains me, pains me to see this and people just accept it. Can you IMAGINE if bush campaigned on the inevitablitity of an attack?

The only way to stop this is to hold this administration accountable:

TERROR IS NOT INEVITABLE, UNLESS FAILED POLICY MAKES IT SO...if you want to score political points by saying 'hey, you got nothing but at least you're alive" I better as hell be alive to believe it.
