According to the Associated Press, the first day of recounting in New Hampshire went slowly, with only two of 11 Nader-targeted precincts completed by 8 p.m. Thursday. Counting will not resume until next week.
AP: "The completed areas, Litchfield and Manchester's Ward 7, showed little change from the official tallies."
The precincts were chosen based on initial work by programmer Ida Briggs of Michigan. Her analysis raised questions about the accuracy of the vote tally in precincts using Diebold Accuvote optical scanning machines.

So ... it's a data-verification exercise, and much needed. I've got to admit, I was hoping, deep down, for something ... more ... telling.
