Is it here yet? Will your dear leader save you? Do you mind paying $3/gal of gas, so that you can go to heaven. George promised.
Complaining about paying taxes that go to the destruction of the moral fiber of the country for abortions and gay marriage because of these so called activist judges.
Whiney Republicans crying and bemoaning the fact that they have to pay taxes, like our forefathers did. We pay taxes so that we can have roads, schools, and a stable economic envrionment where we can live and own a business.
I, as a liberal, am so tired of paying my tax dollars to support policies that I find calamatous. So don't whine at me. As the confirmation of John Roberts is on the way, the Pat Robertson Republicans.......
(more ranting below)
will be whining the
sacrilege of spending their tax dollars used for what goes against the "word" of God. The Jerry Falwell Republicans will be lamenting the destruction of the moral fiber of his country
as he accepts money from the government under the
faith based initiatives.
Don't whine to me. I pay taxes for the murder of innocent soldiers in Iraq, Americans and Iraqi's, everyday.
They want to invade our bedrooms while their leaders invade soveriegn nations.
They don't want to sell you birth control, while thousands of young Christians are ending up pregnant under the abstinence program.
They are incensed about gay marriage, when the economic stresses of this administrations policies are wreaking havoc on the good people of this country.
They whine and cry about environmental policies that protect one of God's great creations. our beautiful earth.
So don't whine to me about how you want your tax dollars spent. My tax dollars have been murdering people for the sake of "freedom and democracy" in Iraq, and guess what. It is worse now than when Saddam Hussein was in power. With the extra bonus of higher gas prices and enormous profits to the corporate oil companies.
Today I feel so angry with those people that voted for George Bush. Current events are a clue that you were lied to. Today I feel so angry for those Christian "leaders" who lied and lied and lied in their churches to misguide innoncent and uneducated members that the world would go to hell if they didn't vote for George Bush.
How much worse does it have to get before it starts to get better?
There are two things a President has the authority to do that can affect the country for generations. One is to go to war, the other is to appoint a Supreme Court Justice.
I hope Democrats and everyone else takes a long hard look at the erosion of privacy, and the continuing power that will be ceded to the executive branch if John Roberts is appointed.
There is one thing you can't do and that is privatize morality, but you can pretend like you own it.
