Our Government is letting people die.

Because of their own incompetence. Because there was no plan. Because, even though we knew for five days that a killer Catergory 5 Hurricane was heading directly for New Orleans, and even though we knew that that would result in the complete and total destruction of New Orleans and surrounding parrishes due to low lying land and high rising water, they did nothing to prepare.

The leader of this country played guitar while the anticipated breaches of the levees surrounding New Orleans took place. The leader of this country ate birthday cake with Senator John McCain while 150 mile per hour winds ravaged Lousiana, Mississippi and Alabama and a 25 foot tsunami washed over the coast. The leader of this country is now trying to cover his own ass on Good Morning America instead of helping the people in the streets.

Our government is more concerned with stopping the looting in New Orleans instead or realizing why this looting is taking place: because these people by and large are dying slowly of thirst and starvation. Instead of airdropping food and water, instead of evacuating the remaining dying residents of New Orleans, armored National Guard and police trucks pass them to stop the looting. While people die in the streets of New Orleans.

Our government passes them them by.

Mark my words, Mr. Bush, all those who die today, tomorrow, all those who have died yesterday and on Tuesday, are on your head. You are responsible. Your incompetence has brought us to this point. It's on you.
