- soldiers in two different incidents
- Marines
also a Salvadoran soldier killed
and we now seem to be at war with Sadr's militia. No they cannot defeat us in pitched battle, but do we really want to be involved in urban warfare in Baghdad?

I grieve for all who die, even as I know there will be times when the evil of killing some may be the better choice to avoid the deaths of many others.
And as bad as today is, what will happen when the Mrianes move in force into Fallujah? How manyh, on both sides, will die or be maimed?
At what point will the destruction that is being caused in iraq be considered a causis belli by some already within this nation, or against US interests in other nations?
What a sad day.....
