So I'm in NYC for a series of radio interviews here in the city. And even though the book tour doesn't kick off until next Monday in DC, I'll be attending a
meetup here in NYC on Wednesday. I'll chat, sign books, and buy beers for those with Progressive Partner editions (hopefully I won't be bankrupted). Maybe I'll get Jerome to attend as well.
Yaffa's Tea Room (in TriBeCa NOT the East Village)

Take the 1 or 9 to Franklin or the 2 or 3 to Chambers.
March 22 (solstice!)
6:30 until whenever
Note, I won't be there until about 7 - 8 p.m.
- I could give a shit that the Washington Post hired a conservative blogger (though there were much better ones for them to pick), I just think the claim that they hired him for "balance" is laughable.
- CNN and Gallup break up. And it's a nasty breakup.
- The GOP made fundraising gains in February.
- Bowers makes bold statement: there is no right-wing blogosphere anymore. All their top stars have been absorbed by that so-called liberal media they loathe so much.
- Connecticut columnist and radio personality Colin McEnroe turns on Lieberman.
- Fighting Dem Tim Dunn in NC-08 dropped out apparently because of fundraising woes. Raising money for these races is brutal business and it keeps a lot of good people out of politics.
- Wow, the IL-06 primary is a tight one (scroll down). Impressive job by Cegelis, win or lose, against the weight of the entire IL Dem establishment (including Durbin and Obama).
- Let's hope the RNC wastes a lot of money running silly anti-Feingold ads in Wisconsin. Those cheeseheads are proud of the fact that Feingold thumbs his nose at the DC powerbrokers.
- Comment search is working now. Give it a shot. Do note that the starred items in the Sort By menu are specific to comment searching. Not all the story search stuff will work with comments, but if you try using a sorting that isn't valid, it will just fall back to the default.
