Yeah, I'm talking to you, maggot! This is Sgt. W.M. Triallawyer...and you got a major malfunction! You're not worth your mama's love! You reading me? How did a pathetic lifeform like you ever get to blog here? You are NOT deserving of the title "KOSSACK"...

Not unless you're you're signed up to do your part on APRIL 29th.

Seriously, what the hell is going on around here? Tim Tagaris showed up here about a month ago to demonstrate the 50 state strategy was not just words, it was action. He let you know about an opportunity to ENGAGE with your neighbors, get off your butts, and get the boots on the ground to revitalize the party. It's called the Neighbor-to-Neighbor National Organizing Day, AKA the 50 State Canvass.

Tim got a lot of huzzahs in his diary entry on the canvass...even made the Rec List. And then...ho-hum, la de da, no...real...buzz...here...on...the...ole...blog.

Not that people haven't diaried about it in the past four weeks. Don't believe me? Well, look here, and here, and here, and here. You get the picture. At least four diaries and we have the equivalent of a golf clap for Dr. Dean..."well played, old chap."

We wanted to have Dr. Dean as our chair because he had a vision of revitalizing this party from state to state. And when he asks for a little freakin' time on a Saturday in April, we're looking at each other going, "Err, ummm, yeah...I'll get back to you."

How many of you are signed up to do get it done on that day? If it's not EVERY LAST ONE OF YOU THAT CAN, it's not enough.

Let me share a little story with you. I'm going to be damnnnn busy that day. I've got 20 people, including my in laws, coming to my house for BBQ for my wife's B-day. I mean real BBQ, too...getting up early around 4 a.m. to start making the pulled pork. Guess what? I'm STILL organing a canvass in my neighborhood for that morning.

With all deference to Kos, I hope NONE of you are blogging on Saturday, April 29th. Not until you've at least dropped off about 50 doorhangers in your neighborhood.

It's so freakin' EASY. Get some friends together, cut up some turf, or join a canvass already in progress. Print the materials off the DNC website, or call your state and local party and see if they've gotten an allocation.

JUST GET THE HELL OUT THERE! The Sargeant doesn't want to have to come back here and kick your tush.
