My son explained to me tonight how his Xbox let's him talk to anyone in the world with an internet connection and an Xbox. It's free, he can use a WiFi access point or a wired network and he can talk about anything he wants in a private, invitation only gaming room. He also can set up private chats on the fly during gameplay. Then he showed me how you could use the guns in Call of Duty to send morse code messages without even talking.
Wiretapping is worthless with this technology as far as I know. BushCO is spending billions fighting terror, sacrificed the constitution, and a 13 year old kid can figure his way around BushCO's security measures about 10 minutes after I explained the NSA wiretapping scandal. His comment was, "that's stoopid; it won't stop anyone from communicating if they want to...check out my xbox."
Then he showed me the tools for designing levels of gameplay and some of the tools available for writing games. Looks like you could mock up a target in a hurry and do virtual attack planning. I wonder who's targeting this at the NSA. Probably no one; they were too busy listening to Americans and foriegn diplomats without a warrant. It's enough to make you sick.
