I find it unacceptable to abide by the suggestion our President has put forward in his radio address today. He proclaimed we would dishonor those who have fallen and sacrificed all if we decide to withdraw from Iraq before total victory is achieved.

I heard the same nonsense over 38 years ago while ducking bullets in the Vietnam nightmare. Just think a moment, what he is asking of every Gold Star Mother. In addition to her unbearable grief of loosing a son or dauughter she is now being told her son is now going to be responsible for the slaughter and deaths of other Mother's sons and daughters. This kind of Chickenhawk logic would keep this unwinnable conflict going on forever. To many Brothers give up their lives on the battlefield for the sake of keeping their brethren ALIVE. To suggest we must continue to slaughter them to honor those who have given their all is an outrage and should not be allowed to stand.
