Argh Iran, you idiots. Not only is your country one of the most repressive governments in modern history, you have the balls to claim you somehow have a right to one the worlds most dangerous and catastropic technologies? I thought it was bad when pakistan, another country which is highly unstable, declared it had a right to nuclear power, but now this! Iran is more dangerous than pakistan. They scream death to america openly in their senate(?). Their radical right wing prime minister, president, whatever, hates jews, and denies the holocaust.
Now condelezza rice is on cnn saying the time for action is immanent, if that isnt dejavu speak, i dont know what is.

Democrats are screwed on national security again, this time by circumstance, not just by the misleading of the president. This time we arent speculating on whether are not wmds exist, their leader is flaunting them! How can dems have any credibility in national security, if they dont pull a hardline against iran? Sure, we dont want to repeat iraq, have more chaos, civil wars etc., but Iran is not a maybe like Iraq. The truth is, we cant fight against iran alone either. We dont have the troops, but im sure the american people can be spooked into buying another war.
So how are we going to handles this? We cant nuke them, the survivors will just go crazy and terrorism will spread across the west.
Pre emption didnt turn out so well in iraq or afghanistan.
Maybe im overestimating the threat of iran, but all I know is, these are trying times for america.
