The Right Wing Loves John Kerry

Republicans have got to love John Kerry. Seeing him speak must make them purr in delight. They must love him the way a little league team would love an outbreak of chicken pox for the opposition. When he got up at the Democratic National Convention and said, "John Kerry reporting for duty." (This being the tersest thing that Kerry has ever said.) It must have been the moment when the Republicans knew they were going to be in unbalanced and unchecked power a while longer.

So, I say this with all the love in my little liberal heart: Kerry shut up. Please, just shut up. Leave politics. Retire. Go away. You've gone as far as you can with your political career. Thanks for your public service (to the Republicans). Now stop making speeches.

I'm not a superstitious person - Kerry - but you're cursed! Every time you speak - a conservative gets his/her wings.

You're the best thing to happen to the right wing since the advent of the wedge issue! First it was the religious right joining the ranks - then it was the take over of congress - then 9/11 and NOW its John Kerry. You start where the whisper campaigns stop.

President Bush has about as much charm as a venereal disease with an antibiotic immunity. And he still beats you. I thought it was embarrassing to have Bush campaign for candidates in this midterm election - spending his `political capital' and his low 30% approval rating. It's much like watching someone try to pay for booze with food stamps. I was hoping Bush would endorse candidates I wanted to lose.

But no. That's right out of the John Kerry playbook.

I say this as an architect of many a `botched joke' - stop campaigning! Did Bob Dole campaign for other Republicans after he lost to Clinton in `96? No. That's why they WON in 2000...well that and Kathleen Harris...another story for another time.

I'm not a scientific person - but Kerry - you're a plague! I don't want you to apologize for what you said about the troops. You're letting them frame the argument AGAIN. I want you to apologize for letting a sub par snobby rich kid beat you, a sub par snobby rich kid VIETNAM VET!

And then go away and bore the private sector.
