On CNN, Andrew Sullivan says Bush is unhinged; VIDEO

On CNN, the Situation Room, with Paula Zahn. The occasion was Bush's expressed support for Rummy's "fantastic job."

And no, this was not a joke gone awry. This was not "the president is wrong," or "the president is stupid," or anything similar. This was Andrew Sullivan of TNR, a former Bush/war supporter, saying Bush has lost his mind. Christopher Hitchens was there, acting drunk and denying he was a conservative, and slamming Bush and Boehner. Hitchens mumbled something about Bush was acting like royalty. But Sullivan was the star, and he was indignant and serious about Bush. He said the election was an intervention.

This was Olbermann-strength denunciation; he wasn't kiddin.
