I think it's a legitimate question to ask whether the Red Cross or most other operations can effectively deploy contributions in a non-racist manner.  Since most of the victims are black, it seems to make a lot of sense to donate to a relief fund that has a track record of advocating effectively for African-Americans.

I just gave 'em $200, more on the way.  I'm hoping that other Kossacks might decide to contribute as well.
