War On Mexicans = US Food Rotting In Fields

That's right, folks: Bush's racist War On Mexicans has caused California farmers to be unable to get all -- or even most -- of their crops in over the last few months. Those Mexicans that do risk the border crossing are aiming for higher-paying jobs, such as those at Indian casinos, rather than risking arrest for ten hours of backbreaking minimum-wage work.

As one Californian points out, the choice is simple: Allow the Mexicans to come to the US to farm our food -- or watch as they farm food for us in Mexico. Nice way to save the American farmer, George!

Oh, and don't bother looking for this story in any American media. The UK's Guardian is the only source for it I've found so far. [UPDATE: Fixed to correct link.]
