By way of comparision, here is a GIF image that Radical Russ prepared showing the decline of Bush's approval ratings from the election of 2004 through March of 2006.

You will notice that, in March, Bush enjoyed (or should I say rather we enjoyed) a 24% deficit between his approval rating and disapproval rating.
In April, this deficit grew to 26%. And that was before the skyrocketing gas price gouging starting taking its financial toll upon America. So, unless Bush captures Bin Laden this month, it is highly likely Bush's poll deficit will grow still larger.
As I indicated in an earlier diary last month, I voiced my frustration with the Democrats not rallying behind Senator Russ Feingold and his censure resolution. I pointed out my Democratic Party to the map, and screamed "Look you fools! The country is blue!! What are you waiting for?? Stand up and fight!"
So, how is the Democratic Party doing after this month has passed? What have they done right? What have they done wrong? Are they still cowering from a fight? Or are they fighting?
My take is that things have gotten better, but more needs to be done. I for one have enjoyed the Democrats Real Security Plan, and their getting out in front of the gas price gouging taking place across this land.
