Troll Wars: The Final Battle

Much as been made of the Troll Wars. They have been going on a long time. And yet, I have no idea who is the troll, and who is the noble trusted user seeking to rid Daily Kos of the aforementioned troll.

Indeed, yesterday I rated a comment up that was being troll rated because I thought the substance was not trollish and felt the commenter was being unfairly troll rated. But then I got shit for it.

"The well known DD should know better that this poster is a troll."

"How disappointing!"

This ends now.

So, unless this vast and mysterious Troll War is explained to me once and for all....I am leaving Daily Kos.

Because if I can't figure it out, then there is no hope that Kos will once he gets back into his routine after the completion of his book tour.

I know, I know, part of this is my fault. I am a trusted user and, accordingly to some, I should be using my enormous powers for good, instead of evil. I should be monitoring this site 24/7 so as to eliminate trolls.

Sorry, but I can't do that. I do have a life outside of Daily Kos. And when one of these Troll Wars erupts, which by the way looks to me to be more of a personal fight between two or more groups of members, rather than an actual troll infestation, I, like many, ignore it and move on to more important stuff.

So explain it to me. Who should I be troll rating? Who are these evil trolls? Identify them, so we can deal with the supposed trolls.

Personally, I suspect that the Troll Wars are indeed a personal fight between two groups. But, hey, that's just me.
