Dems ARE Opposing Torture: Levin, Markey Leading the Way

News flash, for those rending themselves to bits over the Democrats' alleged betrayal of the roots (and human decency) over "not talking about Iraq" and "not opposing torture":

1) As has already been shown, they ARE talking about Iraq -- and quite forcefully, too.

2) As has just been shown, powerful Democrats like Levin and Markey ARE opposing the Republicans' torture bill, and in the strongest possible terms.

Now will everyone who has spent the past week tearing up their DNC cards kindly tape them back up again and get back to work lobbying their legislators? Thanks.
