Once again, Mitch McConnell was right there for President Bush. He is the ugliest cheerleader to ever slip on a mini-skirt. Yes, no matter what ridiculousness comes out of the White House, McConnell will never miss a chance to brownnose Bush and rubber-stamp his misled and often cruel policies. Even children are not sacred to this bunch of greedy, misguided ideologues. But to be fair, lets hear what Mitch McConnell had to say about all of this. Here he is speaking on floor of the United States Senate about SCHIP:
Translation:
McConnell would rather protect the profits of big insurance, which has failed miserably in providing Health insurance to tens of millions of Americans and those profits are more important to him than even the health and welfare of CHILDREN!!
All of this despite the begging of constituents for Mr. McConnell to support this bill:
Despite a veto proof majority in the Senate, McConnell still can't seem to find the courage and conviction to speak out against President Bush and risk the profits of big insurance who have filled his coffers to stab our children in the back. How disgraceful!!!
Well this hasn't been lost on the children of Kentucky, who have devised a plan to get Mitch McConnell to listen:
It seems the children of Kentucky are pretty savvy. They realize that Mitch McConnell, like Butcher Bill in Gangs of New York will say, "You gotta pay for my company boy"!! Yes, these children have been pooling their resources in a desperate attempt to get McConnell to listen to them over the interests of big insurance and the God McConnell worships alongside Bush, Mammon. Unfortunately their dollar bills aren't anywhere near what McConnell gets from big insurance. Yes, finance, insurance and real estate gave McConnell $1,484,667 dollars in 2006. The uninsured children of Kentucky will have to sell a whole lot of lemonaide to be heard by Senator McConnell.

And this coming from two men, McConnell, and President Bush who have constantly pushed their "Christian Values" into the front of why they deserve to be elected and hold office. They tell us how Democrats don't have these "Christian values". Well Mitch, if you think that Christ would approve of your Mammon-worship at the expense of millions of children, just check out this video:
Christian? I think not. George W. Bush and Mitch McConnell have proven themselves once again as the modern day equivilant of the biblical Pharisees. They want to talk their righteous dialogue, but refuse to stand up for the most helpless above us. In closing, I would like for McConnell, Bush, and all the other phony Christians who believe in Mammon over children to consider this verse:
(1 Timothy 4:12 KJV) Let no man despise thy youth; but be thou an example of the believers, in word, in conversation, in charity, in spirit, in faith, in purity.
Indeed!!
