Before I go further, this needs to be said:
This is NOT about what it would take to get your vote back, to win your vote, or to solidify your support.
If you have decided that you can't support him in the primary, your opinion still matters.
And I understand that there is likely nothing he can do to restore things to the way they were before. Damage has been done that he cannot undo. A bell cannot be unrung.
The point is to provide feedback to the campaign, which almost certainly reads Daily Kos diaries about him.
My only request or limitation is that suggestions be constructive, i.e. not "f@ck off and die" or "drop out and endorse Dennis Kucinich."
So, what do folks think he should do? Offer better, more progressive LGBT policies? Express unambiguous remorse and apologize? Assure folks that he won't let this kind of thing happen again? Denounce Donnie McClurkin (I volunteer personally to write that speech, Senator Obama, should you go that route)? Be more forceful in publicly advocating for LGBT rights and against homophobia?
Anything that I missed?
