A very Happy New Year to all of my friends in the Eastern Time Zone, and A very Happy last few hours to my friends on the West Coast. To those in the Mountain Zone, well, I am just jealous that you get to live in the mountains and a Happy New Year coming soon.
Now My pick for President
First, let me say who is not my pick for President. I am running for Congress against Mike Pence in Indiana’s 6th, and I would like to take him out before he gets his turn as Mike Huckabee. Pence is slicker and in four years will be much better known, unless we put him out of office and back on talk radio, so he is not my pick for President.
Nor do I support anyone with an R behind his name, be it hard, soft, or Connecticut for Lieberman.
I don’t support Michael Bloomberg or any third party, and that includes Ron Paul. His support, well I just don’t get, and I will leave it at that.
My choice for President is simple. I choose whomever the nominee of The Democratic Party turns out to be.
I live in Indiana, and we have some Blue Dogs, but they are not as bad as the people they replaced, and while I want to see the most progressive candidate come out of the primaries, if that doesn't happen, then we will still have someone better than the Republicans, even if it is just a little better, it will be better than an R, any R.
I live in Indiana and our primary is in May and the race will of course end well before then, but I am going to support whomever the rest of you choose. So those that can, and do have a voice in this major decision, please don’t screw it up! :o) Happy New Year
