In Google Trends, "Huckabee rapist" does not have enough search volume to show graphs...yet. Perhaps y'all could help by, you know, searching on that from time to time.
In Google News, "Huckabee rapist" had 187 hits last night. I googled it again this morning and it only had 105 hits. But then I noticed I had entered a typo: "Huckabee racist."
Ooopsy daisy! My bad.
[Note: I have no idea what those articles were about but...I'm intrigued.]
On entering "Huckabee rapist" this morning, I found that it was up to 187 hits. And just a few moments ago, before posting this diary, it was up to 198. How high will it go? Your guess is as good as mine -- but you can track it by checking periodically and leaving the current number in the comments of this diary. If this diary makes the Recommended List, so much the better: we can track it over a day or so.
P.S. Because I know so many wing-nuts and because I know how they think, I thought it might be wise to Google "Clinton rapist" to get a headstart on the inevitable pushback they'll mount involving Kathrine Willey, yadda yadda yadda.
That search in Google News came back with 214 hits -- and they were all about Huckabee letting Dumond go free. Cenk Uygur's piece was typical: "Huckabee Fought to Release Serial Rapist Because of Anti-Clinton Hysteria."
I just checked again: "Huckabee rapist" is up to 200 hits.
How high will it go? Track it and leave the numbers in the comments.
UPDATE: Best headline yet comes from the NY Post (of course):"KIN RIP HUCK SPIN ON KILLER"
