Damn time change! Oh well, there's not much to put up tonight anyway.

Jon's guest, Chris Dodd, is running for president. You know that, right? He's Connecticut's other Senator, the Democrat. You can probably get some real info about him elsewhere here on dKos or other left blogistan places. It looks like he's been talking about restoring Habeus Corpus (you are a citizen co-sponsor, right?), and there's a bit of commentary on his site documenting today's visit. There's some video, but all the cool stuff is embargoed until 11. Oh, and the pic above is from there.

And NY Times columnist Nicholas Kristof is on with Stephen tonight. A quick blog-search reveals a few, um, disagreements with him over the years, but his work on Darfur has won him awards, including the Pulitzer for

his graphic, deeply reported columns that, at personal risk, focused attention on genocide in Darfur and that gave voice to the voiceless in other parts of the world.

If there's any specific publicity tonight, I bet it's the contest he's running to pick a college-age student and a middle-high school teacher to go with him to Africa. He did this last year, and it's far from a safari. From the column:

If you win the trip, you won’t be practicing tourism, but journalism. You’ll blog and prepare videos for the New York Times and MySpace Web sites. I’m betting that you’ll be able to connect with young readers and viewers — and galvanize them to care about these issues — in a way that I can’t.
