The Worst Presidents... Ever!

As the end of the Bush reign approaches, we will begin to hear more and more about where he ranks on the list of all-time bad presidents. But I realized that the term "bad" covers a lot of ground.

A president can be bad in several ways. He can be incompetent, corrupt, evil, or make all the wrong decisions. A particular president can be bad in more than one way.(The current occupant satisfies all of these, don't you think?) So let's take a break from scandals and think about bad presidents.

Today's badness poll will cover those presidents who were incompetent, i.e., they simply weren't up to the job. The rules are simple: pick a president from the list below. No presidents after 1980 can be considered because, honestly, it wouldn't be much of a contest if we included the current occupant.
