Here's some great youTube footage of Chris Mooney and Matt Nisbet on how to frame science. The Global warming denial industry and creationists, etc., have been kicking our ass for years in this area. It's about time we started fighting back. This is a blue-print for one possible angle of attack. And it's something you're going to hear a lot more about in the near future (Don't be put off by the listed length, much of it is discussion and Q & A at the end).

For you lucky residents of the Big Apple, Chris and Matt will be at the New York Academy of Sciences this coming Monday.

And speaking of climate change, Hurricane Season started yesterday. As if to kick off the new season with a bang, Tropical Storm Barry popped up right on cue smack dab on top of the Gulf Loop Current. The storm's predicted path takes it straight over us. A feeder band buzzed DarkSyde Manor early this morning. For now there's an eerie calm outside, a pea green dawn breaks and our animals are acting freaky.
