Polls show Hillary Clinton with consistently large leads over the rest of the field. The order of the candidates has not changed for a very long time. There is something about Hillary that is so contrived that I just do not like her. The whole campaign song thang – so phony and artificial as to be disgusting and the Sopranos parody was unbecoming.
There is something about Hillary that I just cannot stand and as her campaign progresses I become more anti Hillary. Yes, I would kick her out of bed and I suspect a small part of Bill's problem is that he has. To me she seems willing to say anything. She is the ideal woman for Mitt Romney the Republican who will say anything, except that he is not a Mormon. I would not vote in election between Romney and Hillary.
Commentators are always remarking about how she looks uncomfortable in her skin. I wonder if that is because she has never worn her skin long enough to become comfortable. She is the ultimate sixties kid willing to make herself into anything for acceptance and hence is in constant search for herself.
I do not understand how Hillary sells herself to poor and young women. She is a woman of privilege; raised in the middle to upper middle class Chicago suburb of Park Ridge. She attended Wellesley College and then Yale Law School. Women of her era and class do not support her as poor and younger women do? What do they see? Is breaking the glass ceiling such a biig deal.
The final thing I don't get is what about being "First Lady" qualifies her for the presidency. Being a lawyer does. Being a Senator does. But watching Bill hardly does. To the Democrats who are looking for a winner, I say Hillary is not that winner. Yes I would trust her as dog catcher, but never as President. Code Pink gave her a pink slip. I agree with code pink.
