There are some things I learned. One is that my statement "yes I would kick Hillary out of bed" was sexist. I wish now that I did not state my loathing for Hillary in a male chauvinist way. I learned a lesson.
Second, I did do some home work on Ron Paul and Ron Paul would have a whole lot of explaining to do before I would vote for him over Hillary. Ron Paul did publish a newsletter in the nineties that did contain deeply racist statements by him. See Racism in Ron Paul's Past Writings?
Third, I did some homework on Hillary and I found this incredible video:
This video is the best video of any of the campaigns. I am somewhat surprised that Hillary's campaign does not push the video more. I wish all the candidates would sit down in such forums and make videos like this. This can change the level of discourse of the campaign. This is also the most persuasive video for any candidate that they should be president. Way to go google and special thanks to the women@google for this video. I learned that Hillary has some depth, now if her campaign could only front and center that depth, I would be more of a Hillary supporter.
But the most important lesson I learned was to beware of the tyranny of the majority or the rabid minority. According to the poll I conducted with 237 respondents; only 42% would vote for Hillary, some 25% would not with the rest voting for her if everyone else sucked (my position). In that 42%, a group were not interested (not all and probably not a majority of the 42%) in dialogue, but rather in denigrating those with opposing views through personal playground invective.
