Well, now you will have your chance.

I just got off the phone with Kid Oakland, who is, along with Gina and the other great people organizing Yearly Kos 2007, putting together Regional Caucuses for the afternoon of Thursday, August 2. I am honored to be asked to co-moderate the Delaware/Maryland/D.C. Regional Caucus.

While the details will be ironed out in the next few days, these regional caucuses will focus on the local political scene of your state or region. This is vitally important, for if you want to grow a progressive movement and establish a progressive majority in this country, you have to start at the bottom. Further, for the attendees of Yearly Kos, these regional caucuses will give you an opportunity to literally meet your real Kossack neighbors, with the hopes that you all will stay in touch in the local blogging communities and get more involved in local campaigns and activism.

This will also give you a chance to find out what is really going on in your local political scene, with a focus on the upcoming 2008 elections.

And most importantly, if you always wanted to kick me, or punch me, this will be your one and only chance!

So stay tuned for further details, which I or others involved will provide as they become available!
