Very generic in some places, isn't it? Indeed, on many of these issues, the party has already moved past this platform. For example, "winning the peace in Iraq?" Screw that noise. Further, with respect to healthcare, all of the current presidential candidates are pursuing some kind of plan for universal healthcare coverage by a certain date. There was no mention of universal healthcare coverage in this 2004 platform.
