It has been a well known "secret" that Lucius Vorenus is Delaware Dem and vice versa.

Five months ago, I retired the Delaware Dem moniker due to an "incident" with a notorious "critic" of Daily Kos. At the time, as a result of the incident, I felt I could no longer continue blogging under this pseudonym.

So, I ceased posting under this handle (but not before posting a GBCW diary that will live in infamy), and created a new account here, called 'Lucius Vorenus.' Please note that this was not sockpuppetry, as the two accounts were never used concurrently. And now, in returning to the 'Delaware Dem' handle, I will not use the 'Lucius Vorenus' handle.

Why am I doing this? Well, I have more history with the Delaware Dem moniker, and the reasons I left it are no longer operative. Circumstances have changed on both sides of the equation, so why not return to where I began here. Indeed, in my time on Daily Kos, I have posted 11,894 comments and 559 diaries (not including those I deleted) as Delaware Dem, 73 comments and 12 diaries as Delaware Dean, and 2,700 comments and 69 diaries as Lucius Vorenus. And yes, I want my low UID back! Finally, with Yearly Kos coming up, I did not want to be introducing myself constantly as "Hey, I am Lucius Vorenus, but I used to be Delaware Dem."

Will the new Delaware Dem be the same as Lucius Vorenus and the old Delaware Dem?

Yes. I will still hate cats, Republicans, the Green Party, Nader Lovers, and the New York Yankees.
