There is no Internet as we know it today.

Considering that, would you be as active or interested in politics as you are today?
And considering that blogging is a political action in and of itself, if the internet did not exist, what would replace blogging in your political world?
Would you still be active politically? And if you would be politically active, what would you be doing?
At Drinking Liberally last night, I met a graduate student, whose name I cannot recall at the moment, who has as his thesis project the very question mentioned above. I thought I'd help him out.
