After Yearly Kos, I made an committment to launch a Daily-Kos-style group political blog to cover local Delaware electoral politics. Indeed, Delaware has a very important and exciting election cycle coming up, and there will be no shortage of stories to cover, from contested Democratic primaries in the Governor's race, the Lt. Governor's race, the Insurance Commissioner's race and the race to be Delaware's sole representative in Congress.

Further, it is time to combat DC-Inside-the-Beltway-itis that has infected Delaware's two Democratic Senators, Tom Carper (who is proud to be a member of the DLC), and, God love him, Joe Biden.

Well, while Monday will be the official launch of my new endeavor, I decided, with most of the work done, to give my fellow Kossacks, the first chance to see it.

This local blog will hopefully join the ranks of Calitics, Blue Jersey, Blue Hampshire, My Left Nutmeg, and the other already established premier state political blogs in terms of quality and coverage.
