The 'Superior Primate'?

Are we truly the 'Top primate' or just a shadow of what we could really be?

Forget your suits and cars and fancy housing and ask the really important guestions.Does that which we call 'God' really want us killing eachother off for riches and resources? Is it really our lot in life to use distrust, deceit, and threats of violence to 'advance' civilization?
If there's really 6 billion of us on Earth,who really just want to exisist in Peace,how did we let a few hundred million become such a threat to the rest of us? Do we really want to kill folks just because their way of recognizing a 'Higher Power' differs from ours? Are we right to call another's name for 'God' wrong and proclaim our way is best? If you look at the last 5000 years of history,I think you'd have to agree that we,as 'top primate', are far more deadly,destructive,and out of balance with nature than any of the other animals on Earth. Yes we are animals. We'd like to think of ourselves as higher on the list,but we're not.
All other lifeforms strive for balance in their environment,we do not.Why? Is there some other higher power that has said 'Tho shalt raise a mighty building and rule the World'. I think not. If Jesus came back,he'd still get killed because the same mindset of the 'rulership' that existed then remains to this day.
Have we become so filled with 'blood lust' that we've forgotten our humanity? Have we slunk down to the lowest level of being human that this is they way we really wish to live? I'm quite sure you,me and a hell of a lot of other people want a better life than this! We can have it,we could have it now,we just need to do a little soul searching,a little life changing respect for other's lives,faiths,and right to live as they choose. If we can do that,we'll make a giant step toward making warfare and killing faded memories in the distant past of a less evolved primate that has finally 'advanced'.
