Is Joe Lieberman the next AG?

If President Bush is looking for a bipartisan appointment that will give control of the Senate to the Republicans and have a Democrat/Independent supporting all of Bush's unconstitutional unitary commander in chief philosophy then I cannot think of a more obvious choice.

Joe Lieberman is out of touch with the Democratic base, which is why he lost the Democratic primary. He is a strong supporter of war and Bush/Cheney. He was also a Democratic vice presidential candidate.

According to many including Professor Marjoie Cohn (see Bush Plans War on Iran) Senator Joe Lieberman is the ideal AG. Besides being an AG in a republican administration will grease the skids for a lots of money as a lobbyist when he retires. Doesn't matter who is in power in Congress or the the White House. Ole Joe will have all the fields covered.
