A few weeks ago I was one of the first to say that we need to ignore Sarah Palin and focus on McCain. Since then I have realized that that simply will not work. Whether we like it or not we are now running against her. John McCain is laying low and the media has become all Palin all the time. The fact that "people like her" does NOT mean that we shouldn't be going after her. Quite the contrary, we need to hit her hard and often.

People who like her do so only because they do not know her. The more people hear what kind of person she is, the more they will turn against her. If you are phonebanking then yes, please educate people on Barack's policies, but also please educate people on who Sarah Palin is.

She lied about the bridge to nowhere

She lied about Obama's tax plan

She lied about visiting Iraq

She lied about Obama's legislative accomplishments

She lied about opposing earmarks

She has fired numerous people for not obeying her absolute power with complete disregard to how it would effect the lives and families.

There are numerous examples of her abusing her power repeatedly.

She's colluded with friends, family members, employees, and staff on ways to communicate about official government business matters without having to worry about being held accountable for the content of those communications.

She campaigned for Pat Buchanan.

She has listened to hate speech against Jews in her own church.

She used to be a member of an extremist political group that wants to secede from the union.

She made rape victims pay for their own rape kits; and based on Wasilla's financial records rape victims who couldn't afford to pay for them were completely denied justice.

She thinks those same rape victims should be forced to bear the children of their attackers, even if they are 12 or 13 year olds and the attacker is a relative.

That's just the tip of the iceberg!

If you are talking to someone who says they like Palin, ask them why. Ask them if they know about any of the things on that list. Don't just say "okay, sure enough" and allow them to go on thinking she is some sweet "hockey mom" from podunk Alaska.
