Palin testified that she was summoned by her sister Molly to rescue her from Wooten who was drunk, enraged and threatening.
Palin arrived at Molly's, but didn't go in. Instead, she peered through the window with a neighbor.
Palin describes a terrifying scene. A 6ft 5 guy, 260 pounds, standing over her tiny sister screaming obcenities and making threats.
Repeatedly Palin says that she awas afraid that he would physically hurt her sister Molly, in the prescence of their son.
Then, what does she do? Does she call the cops? Does she knock on the door and save the day?
NOPE.
She tells the neighbor to keep an eye out because she must leave to a meeting.
The cop asks Palin, why didn't you call the police? She said,,, I didn't want to jeopardize his JOB! (the same job that she used her mayoral influence to get for him).
NOw, I am not a psychiatrist perse, but I do know that a domestic violence situation such as this can easily escalate to include murder of the whole family plus the perpetrator. It only takes a second for a "ticking time bomb" to snap. No neighbor standing at a window could stop Wooten from harming Molly or the son from outside the house. Calling the cops at that point would be too late.
So, was Palin actually that afraid of Wooten hurting Molly,.. Read the report in full and you decide what you would've done in that situation.
the real question is this: If the guy was a mean and dangerous drunk, why didn't Palin or Molly turn him in years earlier. She needed to at least withdraw the letter of recommendation that she wrote for him. It was her job to protect the public from him.. And when he threatened to take Palin down, was it a death threat? I think Wooten has smut on the whole family and it was a threat to bring them "down".
And then there is moosegate.
In short: It was Molly's tag. Mike shot the moose for her because she couldn't shoot. Palin waits three years to tattle on Mike for shooting it,(technically illegal but a wide spread practice of husband shooting wife's game). Why was Molly not cited for felony and accomplice.
Come to think of it, why didn't Palin and her dad face charges for accomplice considering that her dad butchered the moose, knowing fully well who shot it, and all three of them split the meat?
The taser incident was way overstated. The kids said he was not shot with the taser and that he had asked to see how it felt. The kid said that he wanted to prove to Bristol, who was standing there chiding him, that he was not a woos.
Link one is Sarah'a statement to cops: compare to the last link where she gets him hired.
Link 2 is Wooten's deposition about the moose and the tasering. It was proven to be factual because link three has the testimony of the kid and Molly who validate Wooten's testimony, in link 3.
