No Senate session today, they're sitting it out until Monday, when they're expecting to vote on the bailout plan. The CR is done, the second stimulus plan isn't and likely won't be, and all eyes are on the bailout. So the House will busy itself with finishing up the postponed votes on suspensions.
And speaking of the bailout, here's a nice, "I get it" moment from Speaker Pelosi:
Pelosi said she would like to see a deal struck by Saturday night that could be posted on the Internet for members and public to review.
If we're gonna have to deal with this piece of crap, you should at least make it available on the Internet. Nice to see that get some prominent consideration for a change.
